Arrival
When should you arrive?
Please ensure that you are at the gate of the Porsche Werk Leipzig (Customer Centre entrance) at the latest 10 minutes prior to the beginning of your programme. A plan of how to find us can be found here. Please note that the plant premises may only be entered at the earliest 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the programme.
How is it possible to reach the Porsche Werk Leipzig using public transport?
The number 191 bus travels from the Hauptbahnhof Leipzig/Osthalle to the stop ”GVZ/Porsche”, a journey time of approx. 25 minutes. Detailed information can be found at www.lvb.de.
Where do the tours start from?
The tours begin on the first floor of the Customer Centre of Porsche Leipzig GmbH, signposted ”Besucherempfang”. Staff will inform you of any deviations to these arrangements on your arrival.
Where is it possible to park?
As a rule, 200 parking spaces are available directly in front of the Customer Centre. If these are not sufficient, on sundays and public holidays it is also possible to use the large car park (up to 300 parking spaces) in front of the gates.
What do I need to bring?
All names for the day are registered at the entrance. If you wish to redeem a voucher, please bring this with you.
Factory tour
How long is the tour?
The tour lasts 1.5 hours without pit stop and 2 hours including pit stop.
Is it possible to take photographs?
Unfortunately it is not permitted to take photographs in the vehicle production area. However, you may take photographs in the Customer Centre.
Why do some tours take place at idle production?
Our aim is to enable as many tours as possible. Consequently, some tours take place at idle production, depending on the day of the week, production and working times. However, this does not affect the comprehension of the work processes, which are explained in particular detail by our tour guides under these circumstances.
What does a tour cost?
There is no charge for a tour of the factory. Further supplements are possible, including driving programmes. All offers can be found at Porsche Leipzig Offers.
How far in advance is it necessary to reserve?
Due to the considerable demand it is advisable to reserve approximately six months in advance.
Retail of our event offers
Our event offers must not be retailed.
What is the maximum number of participants?
The maximum number of participants per tour is 30 people.
Why are people with pacemakers/defibrillators not allowed into the production area?
This is a measure to protect the safety of visitors, due to the technical equipment in use in the production area.
Why are children below the age of 16 not allowed into the production area?
For safety reasons it is not permitted for children below the age of 16 to enter the production area. There are no age restrictions on visiting the Customer Centre.
Is it possible for people in wheelchairs to participate in the tour?
Yes, all facilities are barrier-free.
Is it possible for travel agencies to book tours?
The plant tour + pit stop programme can be booked for a maximum of two 15-person tours per year.
Porsche Leipzig Start
What does pit stop mean?
A small snack at the end of the tour, either sweet (fruit, cake selection, coffee & tea, chocolate, cold drinks) or savoury (fruit, sausage in roll, coffee & tea, cold drinks). The sweet snack is served in the afternoons, the savoury mornings and evenings.
How is payment made for the plant tour + pit stop?
For groups of less than 15 people payment is on the day, for groups of more than 15 you will be billed in advance.
Can the Customer Centre, with its gastronomic offers, be considered as a public restaurant?
The Customer Centre at Porsche Werk Leipzig offers a range of possibilities for enjoying, Porsche gastronomy. You can find relevant offers under the category Porsche Leipzig Start. For example, if you are interested in partaking of lunch without the tour programme - but in a unique atmosphere, then we recommend our Business Lunch offer. However, all offers at Porsche Werk Leipzig are only available with prior registration.
Are there any reductions?
In the Porsche Leipzig Start programmes we offer special conditions for children. Participation is free for children below the age of 7. For children aged 7-12 we offer a 50% reduction on the price of an adult participant.
Porsche Leipzig Pilot and Co-Pilot
How many companions are permitted?
Each participant in the Porsche Leipzig Pilot and Co-Pilot programme may bring with them one companion, who may take part in the free factory tour.
Is it possible to combine the programmes?
Yes, on arrangement, it is possible to combine Porsche Leipzig Pilot and Co-Pilot with the Porsche Leipzig Start programme. In addition, we also offer our attractive Specials.
Is it possible to drive yourself?
It is possible to drive personally with the programmes Cayenne offroad (partially), Pilot and with Discover Porsche in Leipzig.
How old do children need to be to participate in the driving event?
Children aged 16 and over may participate in the driving event, although they are obviously not allowed to drive themselves. Participants of Pilot Programms must have been in possession of a valid driving licence for at least three years.
Are there any reductions?
There are no reductions available for these programmes.

Vouchers
Is it possible to buy vouchers?
We are happy to issue vouchers for all programmes, except for the factory tour programme. Of course, vouchers may also be purchased without a date. Orders may also be placed directly via the vouchers portal.
How quickly is it possible to issue a voucher?
We require an average of 3 working days for the issue and dispatch of vouchers. The vouchers can also be collected on-site. Payment is via invoice, for your convenience.
Business Events: Preparation
How far in advance is it necessary to reserve?
This depends on the scope and required programme components of the event. We will be happy to perform an availability check at short notice.
What is the maximum number of participants for events?
Driving events: On and offroad driving events: depends on type of driving event Tours: Factory tours: 20 people per group, number of groups depending on availability. Contact us regarding this. Conferences: Small auditorium: 80 persons row seating, 50 persons conference seating Large auditorium: up to maximum of 720 persons Small meeting room: up to 8 persons VIP conference room: up to 26 persons
Is it possible for people in wheelchairs to participate in the tour?
Yes, all facilities at Porsche in Leipzig are handicapped accessible.
What facilities exist for signposting the event?
There are many options for individual signposting at the Porsche Customer Centre: two signs directly in front of the main entrance on the access ramp, TFT screens in our large elevator and in the restaurant area.
In what form should the corporate or event logo be provided?
Please send us the corporate or event logo at the latest 3 days prior to the event. The logo may be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, JPG/JPEG or Vector file.
How many flags is it possible to fly, and what dimensions should these have?
In front of the entrance there are 3 rows of 5 flagpoles each. The dimensions of our flags are upright 150 x 400 cm with karabiner hooks and brackets for a fibreglass pole. We will be happy to provide you with flagpoles for a total of 15 flags.

How many people is there seating for on site? Is it possible to add additional seating?
See here for seating numbers. We will be happy to rent additional furniture for you and have this assembled.
How large is the large capacity lift? What load capacity does it have?
The large capacity lift has the dimensions 5,650 x 2780 x 2050 mm (L x W x H) and can carry a load of 9.5 t or 126 persons. The maximum access height of the lift is 2m. Please note that the width at a height of 750 to 980 mm above the floor is reduced by a 120 mm wide control panel. (Further information can be found here.
How large is the stage? What load can it bear?
The stage area totals 160 m² at a height of 0.70 m. The stage is semi-circular in shape. The maximum area load is 500 KN/m². Further information can be found here.
What is the floor surfacing in the Customer Centre?
In the lounge on the ground floor and the foyer on the 1st floor the floor is covered with ceramic floor tiles (anthracite). On the 2nd floor the conference rooms (small auditorium, VIP conference room and small meeting room) are carpeted. The large auditorium and the galleries on the third and fourth floors are also covered with ceramic tiling (anthracite). The stage with solid oak parquet flooring. The maximum area load on tiles and stage is 500 KN/m².
What should be noted in particular when sending out invitations for an event?
Please state a return date for participant responses in the invitation. This should be planned to enable you to inform us of the final number of people participating at the latest 3 days prior to the event. As a rule, invitations with pictures of or references to Porsche Customer Centre Leipzig should be agreed upon with Porsche Leipzig GmbH prior to being sent or published. We will be happy to provide graphical material. An illustration of the Porsche crest is generally reserved for Porsche communication only and therefore not possible.
Business Events: Delivery
How many hours or days prior to the event are deliveries possible?
This depends on whether events are already planned for the day of your event or the day before. Your allocated event manager will be happy to inform you about when you can deliver and assemble.
What particular aspects should be noted with regard to deliveries?
Trucks of up to 10 tons and 3.6m in width can deliver to us without problems. Trucks exceeding this size must observe the distance markings in front of the goods entrance.
Are there storage facilities for delivered materials?
We are able to store materials, depending on the scope of your delivery. Please co-ordinate what is to be delivered with us prior to the event.

How long is the invoicing period?
Our invoices are sent within 14 days. However, we can also adapt to your specific requirements here.
Business Events: Arrival
Who should the participants report to?
The participants should report to the main gate. A guest list is located there, updated on a daily basis.
Who receives the guests, and where?
We will inform you who your personal event manager on site will be prior to the event. This individual will welcome you at reception and explain the further procedure to you.
Business Events: The event
Where is it possible to smoke during conferences?
Due to the highly-sensitive smoke detectors in our buildings it is only possible to smoke in the restaurant area and lounge.
Is it possible to film/take photographs during the event?
Unfortunately, it is not permitted to take photographs in the vehicle production area. You are welcome to take souvenir photographs in the customer centre or on the driving circuits, however. More complex photography (own camera teams, documentation of driving events etc.) requires the issue of a film and photography authorisation from Porsche.
What type of driving events is it possible to book for an event?
Driving events at Porsche in Leipzig are highly variable. It is possible to have a guided drive, drive freely, book a taxi ride or section training. For incentive events corresponding competitions can be integrated into the on and offroad driving events. We will be happy to advise you on this.
What is "a taxi ride"?
In a taxi ride the participant is passenger in a car driven by an instructor, experiencing how a Porsche Cayenne or sports car behaves when pushed to the limits.
What does "guided drive" mean?
In a guided drive the participant follows the racing line of the instructor on the on or offroad track, and is in contact via a radio link. The instructor explains the vehicle, the track, the racing line and adjusts his speed to suit the participant.
What does the term "section training" mean?
In section training the instructor practices various training content with a small group of participants. This may include correct steering or braking techniques, or taking evasive action on a wet surface.
From what age may children participate in driving events?
Children aged 16 and over may participate passively in the driving event, although they are obviously not allowed to drive themselves.
Can I bring my own caterer?
No, we are obliged to use our own caterer. This is a subsidiary of Porsche Leipzig GmbH. Its motto is: Porsche standards in all areas.
