The training workshop for the Panamera is located right at the centre of the assembly hall, which means that it is integrated in our normal operations. From day one, the trainees can experience what happens during normal operations and get a taste of the jobs they are being trained for. The training workshop comprises the actual workshop of 600 square metres, a training room with the most advanced equipment and a service area. The workshop boasts state-of-the-art facilities for professional work, comprising a welding area, workbenches, four car lifts and other technical systems. It is the place for everyday tasks such as oil changes, timing-belt changes and wheel alignments as well as varied projects. Most recent achievements of Porsche Vocational Training include awards of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce as "Bester sächsischer Ausbildungsbetrieb" (best vocational training centre in Saxony) and of one of our trainees as "Bester Leipziger Jungfacharbeiter im Beruf Kraftfahrzeugmechatroniker" (best trainee in automotive mechatronics in Leipzig).
