With us, personnel development is therefore not an „of the peg“ concept, but an approach geared to individual needs and different development phases with the aim of promoting our employees.

There are three equal paths along which each employee can develop within the limits of their capabilities: a technical-, project- or management career. All three paths offer career opportunities.

Our varied individual promotional measures range from attendance at training sessions and seminars to individual coaching by managers or experts. Training measures on the job such as projects as part of the Porsche improvement process, special technical tasks, participation in work groups and simultaneous engineering teams as well as participation in international projects and in our subsidiaries abroad provide additional practically orientated qualification possibilities.

In addition to specific individual promotion we systemically prepare selected target groups such as, e.g. management trainees and managers to meet future challenges.

After first proving their worth in the daily work routine, selected young professionals in the Porsche group are systematically trained in the Porsche promotion programme for young talents and in the Globulation programme to take on more extensive functions. The two-year promotion programme consists of both basic modules and individual modules that are specifically directed at the next possible development stage. Core elements are joint workshops, individual training modules, regular round-table discussions, lectures and working on a project for several months in a different department or in a subsidiary.

Globalution is a programme for management trainees from within the entire Porsche group who work in an international environment or who are earmarked for international tasks. Globalution has a modular structure and consists of case studies, workshops and work on a project.

In the management field we have in our Porsche Management Training a comprehensive and strategically orientated qualification programme. The programme was developed in co-operation with a well-known business school and teaches participants the important „state of the art“ aspects of general management.
