Starting salaries depend on the posts advertised and are based on the salaries standard in the market.
Is a lack of job experience a knock-out criterion when applying?
A lack of job experience is generally speaking not a k.o. criterion; besides, university graduates as a rule already have job experience through placements completed or previously completed vocational training.
How long is the application process (from receipt of doc. until a decision)?
As your application documents are passed on to several departments within our company it is difficult to make a general statement on this. You will in any case receive a letter confirming the receipt of your application; if need be, you will receive interim reports giving you further information on the current status of your application.
What qualifications do I need to get a placement?
The ideal qualifications for a placement at Porsche would be: A successfully completed general degree or a minimum of three post-secondary semesters, some practical experience, above-average grades, passion for motor vehicles and computer literacy. One further requirement for working in our company is the knowledge of German, since this is the language of communication at Porsche.
How many trainee/diploma exam posts are there, where do I find vacancies?

You should apply at the earliest 6 months before you wish to begin. Depending on availability, shorter-term deployment is also possible.

How much do I earn as a trainee/diploma examination student?
As trainee/diploma examination student you will receive between 400 and 650 euros per month depending on qualifications and duration.

Is it possible to apply through the Internet?
Yes, you can apply for certain posts via the Porsche on-line application form. In this case you will find a link in the job advertisement taking you to the on-line application. In case you wish to apply for several posts at the same time, just fill in one form and note your further preferences in the personal covering letter. If your and our ideas and expectations match, we will request supplementary documents (certificates, passport photograph) from you. Unfortunately, applications via e-mail are not possible.
