A professional logistics system is the basic requirement for efficient, high-capacity production. At Porsche Leipzig we therefore focus on the Japanese principles of  "Lean Production" and the "Just in Time" method. Which is why for example the loading sequence for the Cayenne and Panamera bodywork, which are delivered to Leipzig by train, corresponds exactly to the production sequence.

Systems suppliers deliver the components at the same time. In Cayenne and Panamera production line, car bodies and components are processed immediately - with no long intermediate storage. This allows production completely free of fork lift trucks.
