With 12 x 350kW DC fast charging stations and 8 x 22kW AC charging stations, our fast charging park is one of the most powerful in Europe and is open to everyone, 7 days a week, around the clock. Whether you want to visit the Porsche Experience Center, are on your way home or just passing through. Advance booking is not necessary.

To bridge your charging break within the opening hours of the Porsche Experience Center, we would also like to invite you to visit the Carrera Café or the Porsche Design Store.

Frequently asked questions

Who can use the charging park? Do I have to register beforehand? How do I enter the factory area?

It is not necessary to register in advance for charging. The entrance is located in the Porschestrasse 1, visitor entrance - gate 1 customer center. Please inform our security staff at the gate that you would like to charge your car.

Can I check in advance, if and how many charging stations are currently available?

Yes, this function is supported by various apps.

Which vehicles can be charged?

All hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles, which are compatible with AC or DC charging function.

Please take in consideration that only vehicles with a CCS connection can use the quick charge function (DC).

Which vehicles may need an adapter? Are adapters available on site?

For AC charging, the cable supplied with the vehicle is required (no rental); a plug-in cable is provided on the quick charging stations. No further equipment is available on site.

How long does it take to charge on a quick charging station or the normal charging station?

It takes approx. 20 minutes and up to 8 hours depending on the vehicle, charging type, the state of charge or capacity of the battery.

What are the opening hours at the charging park?

Our charging park is open 24/7.

How long am I allowed to charge? Is there a maximum charging period?

No, but we kindly ask you to move your vehicle as quickly as possible after the charging process has been completed. Please note that mobility providers may charge parking fees.

What does it cost to charge? How do I pay?

Charging will be charged.

Billing takes place using charging cards or apps of the respective mobility providers at their terms and market conditions.

What can the customer do during the charging process?

Customers can use the sanitary facilities 24/7. Hot and cold drinks are available free of charge in our customer center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Our Porsche Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You may also visit the historic vehicle exhibition from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Depending on availability, we offer a business lunch from Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If available, you can join a factory tour, enjoy a meal in our restaurant or experience a driving event. However, if you are interested in our experience programs, we recommend booking in advance.

Are there special discounts, on any of the experience programs, for those using the charging park?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any discounts.

Who is the contact person for customer inquiries?

The employees at the reception in our customer center (from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) are available to answer general questions about visiting Porsche Leipzig. A hotline offers technical support for charging. This is currently managed by PAG:
