Program overview
Our Cup Experience offers you pure motorsport excitement with the 911 GT3 Cup, the fastest one-make cup in the world. We promise you a genuine racing experience on the Porsche circuit in Leipzig.
Your experienced motorsport instructor will prepare you step by step for the challenges ahead. The briefing will initially take place in the road-legal counterpart. During the first few laps, you will learn the basics for later driving in a thoroughbred racing car, such as tips on efficient braking, acceleration, and precisely recognizing and implementing the ideal line.
Once you are well prepared, you will then switch to the racing car. In a detailed briefing, your instructor will familiarize you with the individual controls, such as the 6-point harness system and the perfect seating position. In addition, the professional will demonstrate how to use the sequential 6-speed manual transmission and the internally ventilated racing brake system (steel).
Your heart rate will rise during four unforgettable 15-minute stints. But don't worry: your instructor will be at your side at all times, connected via intercom, supporting you and guiding you precisely to your goal—your personal limit. After each stint, your laps will be evaluated using data and video analysis. For those crucial tenths of a second on the clock. And even more driving fun on the circuit. Of course, we will capture this extraordinary day for you. As a souvenir, you will receive all video recordings of your laps in digital form.
Since every race car driver needs a pit stop, we invite you to a 3-course meal in the Porsche Experience Center restaurant and show you the Porsche production facility during a factory tour.

Important Information
Driving program
- For safety reasons, participants in the self-drive event must have a good command of the English language.
- Drivers must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driver's license for at least three years. The original driver's license must be presented before the start of the driving event. The license must be valid in Germany.
- To ensure maximum vehicle performance, the 911 GT3 Cup is equipped with a new set of Michelin slick tires (rain tires if necessary) before each Cup Experience. All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance.
- A rental agreement with a deductible of €20,000 must be signed on site.
- We provide racing overalls, gloves, and helmets on loan on the training day.
- In case of bad weather conditions, driving programs may be canceled or postponed for safety reasons.
Factory tour
- The minimum age for participating in the factory tour is 6 years.
- The factory tour may also take place when production is not running.
- People with pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, or other active implants are not permitted to participate in the factory tour.
- We recommend wearing comfortable and sturdy shoes.
