Skills enhancement

The most important resource a successful company has consists of the skills and qualifications of its personnel. This is why at Porsche we are committed to promoting these by offering development possibilities within the wide spectrum of interesting tasks and activities offered by our company.

Personnel development review

The foundation for personnel development at Porsche is results-oriented, cooperative management: challenging, encouraging and providing feedback on the basis of targets are the central elements of our management guidelines. We aim to create an environment in which our employees can develop their potential, a principle which applies to the production section just as much as to any other specialist department. The basis for this development is formed by the annual personnel development review. In a frank and fair dialogue the strengths, weaknesses and improvement potential of every individual employee are analysed and used as the basis for tailor-made support measures.

Career development

Especially for our junior executive staff we have, for example, developed a modular programme which aims at preparing them in a targeted way for the assumption of further responsibilities. The programme is made up of a number of components which lead with precision to a single target: equipping the individual for a successful career.

Management dialogue

In order to safeguard the high level of management skills at Porsche we place great emphasis on the exchange of experience and know-how. For this purpose all management personnel at the Leipzig location meet regularly outside of their daily working environment for purposes of networking, developing new strategies and skills enhancement in the form of specialist presentations. This contributes new energy to our thinking and our cooperation. Successful development, however, always requires individual initiative, too. At Porsche every individual is required to take personal responsibility for driving forward the enhancement of his or her skills.
